R600a Refrigerant is non-toxic, with a safety classification of A3 and a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of approximately 4. R600a is one of the most climate-friendly and cost-effective refrigerants available. Fridges and Freezers using this refrigerant are highly energy efficient and can reduce your overall energy costs.

Installation and Maintenance

1) The fridge MUST have a minimum of 100mm ventilation at the back and 50mm on the sides and top of the fridge for ventilation.
2) The grill at the lower back and lower front MUST be cleaned of dust and debris once per month.  Use a soft brush and an air blower to achieve this.
3) The ambient room temperature MUST NOT exceed and be maintained 38°C / 60% humidity for correct operation.
4) Keep the door closed as much as possible, as the compressor will over-stress and ice will form if the fridge/freezer is opened frequently, especially during summer.
5) The glass doors have no heaters, so condensation may form. Glass is a poor insulator, and the temperature differentiation can cause moisture to appear.
6) The fridge MUST NOT be exposed to direct or indirect sunlight (such as through glass windows or skylights) or positioned near a heat source.
7) There MUST be good airflow in your area.  The fridge/freezer must not be in an enclosed space or placed in an area with low or stagnant airflow.
